Created in 1957, this is a Madoura turned vase of white earthenware clay with decoration in engobes (blue, beige, white) that is knife engraved with white enamel. Numbered from the edition of 50, this work features the inscribed stamps: 'MADOURA PLEIN FEU' and 'EDITION PICASSO' on the underside.
