Created in 1971, this color lithographic was published for the exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Lausanne, France which ran from January 16 – February 7, 1971 (with edition stamp on the verso). From the edition before the text and numbered 30/70 in pencil in the lower left; printed by Imprimeries Réunies, Lausanne. Hand signed by Pablo Picasso (1881 – 1973) in pencil in the lower center margin with an additional signature in the stone in green in the lower right.

About the Framing:
Conservation framed in a robust gold and bronze moulding with holly berry and organic motifs. The lively and undulating rhythm of the moulding adds to the intrinsic movement within the piece. This work is set beneath white, linen-wrapped mats and matching gold inner fillet. This custom frame is finished with an archival Plexiglas® cover.
