Historical Description
In Leonardo Nierman Untitled sculpture, a golden flame takes shape before our eyes - such a sculpture fits in with Nierman's long history of exploring the world of solar flares and shooting stars through his work. Pointed, curving shapes melt into geometric, flat planes, creating a structural complexity that engages the eye. The shining surface reflects elements of the work's surroundings, so that dark and light forms merge and separate as the viewer changes position.
