Directed by Sicilian critic and gallerist Gualtieri di San Lazzaro, the art review XXe Siècle featured all great modern artists, from Sonia Delaunay to Marc Chagall to Marc Rothko. This lithograph, created by Miró for the publication, utilizes an exquisite palette of yellow, aqua, pink, and red. With his trademark splatters, swirls, stars, and circles tightly controlled in the center of the page, Miró creates a captivating piece instilled with a sense of liveliness.
