Pablo Picasso Face, 1963
Aptly entitled Little Face No. 13, 1963 this work features a tiny central face peeking out against a background of soft pastel hues. With delicate, thin lines, Picasso manages to convey a unique expression of surprise and curiosity. Forked lines radiate from this central face, contributing a sense of energy and emotion. Playful and enchanting, there is a certain childlike element to this work that brings us back to our own carefree youth.
