Created in 1985,  Andy Warhol, Vesuvius screenprint on Arches 88 paper is hand signed by Andy Warhol (Pennsylvania, 1928 - New York, 1987) in pencil in the lower right margin and is numbered from the edition of 250 in pencil in the lower right. Published by Fondazione Amelio, Naples (with their and the artist's copyright inkstamps on the reverse).

Vesuvius is a famous volcano located in Italy, near the city of Naples. Warhol created a series of works inspired by Italy during his career.
