SOFA Chicago 2017 Nov 2nd – Nov 5th

Sofa Chicago Art Fair 2017 exhibition by Masterworks Fine Art Gallery

Join Masterworks Fine Art at SOFA Chicago 2017: The Sculpture Objects Functional Art and Design Fair hosted from Thursday November 2nd – Sunday November 5th. Starting with a VIP Preview night  Thursday and continuing through the weekend, SOFA Chicago focuses on three-dimensional artworks that cross the boundaries of fine art, decorative art and design. SOFA is noted for its exceptional presentation, with an elite selection of international dealers presenting for sale one-of-a-kind masterworks in handsome, custom-designed gallery exhibits. This year’s show will take place at Festival Hall, Navy Pier, 600 East Grand Avenue Chicago, IL 60611.

Masterworks will be bringing a specially curated selection of works by some of our favorite modern and contemporary masters. We will of course be bringing our favorite works by Pablo Picasso, as well as surrealist Joan Miró. In addition to these two heavy hitters, we will be bringing stunning works by Marc Chagall, Frank Stella, and Sam Francis. Highlights include Frank Stella’s sublime large-scale pieces, Sam Francis’s unique colorful compositions, and Marc Chagall’s dreamy scenes. We invite you to come to Booth 202 to see in person all these and many more wonderful pieces from Masterworks’ exclusive collection.

SOFA is held annually in the fall at Chicago’s major destination, Navy Pier, with an average of 80 dealers and 35,000 people attending. Sales at the fair are estimated at 15-20 million dollars per show. SOFA CHICAGO was inaugurated at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers in 1994, with 58 exhibitors and 14,000 persons attending. In 1995, SOFA Chicago moved to Festival Hall at Chicago’s historic Navy Pier.  SOFA has evolved into a dynamic international marketplace and community – a confluence of perspectives where art, design and people intersect.
