Historical Description
With a simple outline of black wispy strokes, a bird walking amongst leaves is at the center of this ceramic. With delicate features such as the beak and eye, accompanied by beautifully textured feathers, Picasso speaks volumes through minimal utilization.
Created in 1955, this work is one of 100 copies produced by Madoura. This piece is inscribed with the 'Madoura Plein Feu' and 'Empreinte Originale de Picasso' stamps on the underside of the plate.
