A charming and emblematic Maurice de Vlaminck piece, this stunning landscape depicts a village scene in vivid hues of blue, green and brow. This unique original watercolor with pen and ink on paper is hand signed by Maurice de Vlaminck (Paris, 1876- Rueil-la-Gadeliere, 1958) in black in the lower left of the image. This work will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné being prepared by Maïthé Vallè-Bled and Codeliève de Vlaminck under the sponsorship of the Wildenstein Institute.
