Andy Warhol Campbell’s Soup Box (Chicken Noodle), 1986 revisits one of the most historically important and instantly recognizable subjects of the artist’s career.

Warhol first transformed the Campbell’s Soup can into a radical symbol of Pop Art in 1962, when he exhibited thirty-two individual soup-can canvases at the Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles—works that challenged traditional distinctions between fine art, advertising, mass production and everyday consumer culture.
