La Captive (The Captive) by Joan Miró
Joan Miró’ s colorful surrealist imagery comes to life in his fanciful prints. Renowned for his innovative and experimental printmaking techniques, Miró created a wide range of lithographic and intaglio works that convey his artistic view in the printmaking medium. Presented by Masterworks Fine Art, Miró as Printmaker explores Miró’s journey into printmaking, focusing on prints created in his later years, from 1959 -1978.
